Types of Asbestos We Remove in North East Wales
Cement roof sheets
Corrugated asbestos cement panels were standard on homes and outbuildings built before 1985. Removal of asbestos cement slates by DACT ensures safe removal and disposal of these elements under full containment.
Textured coatings
Textured ceilings applied before 2000 frequently contain chrysotile fibres. We test, assess, and remove textured coatings in domestic and commercial properties.
Vinyl floor tiles
Asbestos vinyl floors are most common in homes built before the mid-1980s, and contain asbestos fibres in the vinyl or vinyl backing. Asbestos floor tile removal by DACT prevents asbestos from being released into the air and ensures safe disposal.
Pipe lagging
Pipe lagging containing asbestos is one of the most hazardous uses of asbestos, as it crumbles easily, releasing dangerous fibres. Our specialist asbestos removal team will handle and dispose of asbestos pipe lagging with care.
Soffit boards
These exterior roof overhangs were often made of asbestos insulating board or cement in buildings built before 1999. We test and assess your home's exterior and offer asbestos soffit removal.
Garage roofs
Asbestos garage roof removal is one of the most common jobs we carry out, as many mid-century garages feature asbestos cement sheets that are now weathered or cracked. We handle the removal and safe disposal of these sheets and can assist with replacement roofing referrals.
Boiler insulation
Older boilers and flues were often insulated with ACMs in properties built before 1980. DACT carries out full removal and decontamination of these areas.
Electrical panel boards
In older fuse boxes and electrical panels, asbestos millboard was used as a heat-resistant backing material — we work alongside electricians to safely remove these elements before electrical work takes place.
