Ormskirk Asbestos Removal Firm
In need of a professional Ormskirk asbestos removal company? DACT Contractors is the team for you. Our asbestos removal services ensure any asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) are detected and professionally disposed of in accordance with legal regulations. Floor and roof tiles, wall coatings and loft insulation used in building construction pre 2000 may contain asbestos, and our Ormskirk asbestos removal specialists are fully-equipped to safely handle these elements, dealing with them in compliance with legal regulations.
Types of Asbestos We Remove in Ormskirk
Cement roof sheets
Corrugated asbestos cement panels were standard on homes and outbuildings built before 1985. Removal of asbestos cement slates by DACT ensures safe removal and disposal of these elements under full containment.
Textured coatings
Textured ceilings applied before 2000 frequently contain chrysotile fibres. We test, assess, and remove textured coatings in domestic and commercial properties.
Vinyl floor tiles
Asbestos vinyl floors are most common in homes built before the mid-1980s, and contain asbestos fibres in the vinyl or vinyl backing. Asbestos floor tile removal by DACT prevents asbestos from being released into the air and ensures safe disposal.
Pipe lagging
Pipe lagging containing asbestos is one of the most hazardous uses of asbestos, as it crumbles easily, releasing dangerous fibres. Our specialist asbestos removal team will handle and dispose of asbestos pipe lagging with care.
Soffit boards
These exterior roof overhangs were often made of asbestos insulating board or cement in buildings built before 1999. We test and assess your home's exterior and offer asbestos soffit removal.
Garage roofs
Asbestos garage roof removal is one of the most common jobs we carry out, as many mid-century garages feature asbestos cement sheets that are now weathered or cracked. We handle the removal and safe disposal of these sheets and can assist with replacement roofing referrals.
Boiler insulation
Older boilers and flues were often insulated with ACMs in properties built before 1980. DACT carries out full removal and decontamination of these areas.
Electrical panel boards
In older fuse boxes and electrical panels, asbestos millboard was used as a heat-resistant backing material — we work alongside electricians to safely remove these elements before electrical work takes place.

Why Choose DACT?
As an established asbestos removal company in Ormskirk, we know asbestos discoveries are highly inconvenient. DACT operates across Ormskirk with fast survey turnarounds and asbestos removal slots — we work around your timeline, not ours.

Asbestos Removal Cost in Ormskirk
Where asbestos is located on a property can affect removal costs. Elements in accessible spaces, such as a detached garage roof, will take less time to contain and remove than ACMs behind wall panels. If access is problematic, this will be reflected in your free, no-obligation quote.
